The piers are made from a thick plastic that is UV protected so you do not have to worry about leaving it outside. They have a concrete type color and they do not need to be painted, but they can be to match any type of look you are trying to achieve. They are molded from ABS plastic that is almost 1/8" thick with internal reinforcing ribs.
